About Social Security Appeals Tribunal (SSAT)

The SSAT is a statutory body with an office located in each State and Territory capital city. The Tribunal reviews decisions made by Centrelink in respect of the range of payments administered by Centrelink. Applicants are usually people whose interests are affected by a decision of an authorised review officer in Centrelink and who want to apply to the SSAT for a review of the decision. Application for appeal forms are available from Centrelink Offices.
