About Soubirous Place

Centre based day respite for people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, possibly look at people from other areas, best to visit and discuss options. Service covers Mt Gravatt, Wishart, Coopers Plains, Sunnybank, Acacia Ridge, Runcorn, Kuraby, Calamvale, Algester, Browns Plains, Stretton. Service auspiced by Catholic Church in Brisbane. Activities are in a group basis and include lifeskills, gardening, cooking, gym and swim at Chandler, arts and crafts, stalls at fetes, bushwalking, music, woodwork, social skills, pottery, dance, literacy and performing arts. Some activities are conducted in the community.
