About South West Respite Care

Respite care provided by trained staff and volunteers: Support to adults and children, giving the Primary Carer a break from the caring role. Respite can be In-home; Planned; One-off; or Centre-based depending on individual needs. Emergency respite is available where there is risk of carer breakdown, illness or negative impact on the family. Tailored holiday support can be arranged and may include: Being part of a Network which supports Carers/Service Users on away from home Recreation and Leisure trips, or a night in a motel.
