Providers family support in the forms of counselling and support groups for families (eg. divorce support). Runs the Parent Child Interaction Training (PCIT) project. PCIT aims to provide a service that supports families with children experiencing behavioural, emotional and developmental problems. SCW also provides a wide variety of specialised and generalist counselling for issues such as depression, grief and trauma, relationships and marriage difficulties, personality disorders and anxiety disorders. All counselling is subsidised to ensure community accessibility. Runs community education programs on deliberate self-injury, marriage enrichment and participates in joint depression awareness events. There is a free support group to assist families after suicide. Also runs the Camp Kookaburra Program to provide support to children of those suffering a mental illness.
