About Southern Sydney Therapy Centre - Respite Options

This service provides respite options for people with high support needs either because of their disability and/or challenging behaviour by providing flexible and appropriate activities, that will in turn minimise the risk of institutionalisation. A respite package is designed in consultation with the service user / family reflecting their needs, lifestyle and personal respite preferences. The persons providing care are very experienced and have demonstrated skills in providing support for people with high support needs. Users of this service are required to pay a contributionntowards the cost of the care. Costs vary but may be as low $2 per hour for some respite.
