Self care apartments. Single bedroom and two bdrm units with carport/lock up garage. All units have been designed for maximum comfort for older residents. Pleasant colour schemes and suitable soft furnishings have been chosen for each residence. Other features include, light fittings built in robes, carpets, vertical drapes, modern kitchen. Self care residents are welcome to attend any activities held at the nursing home. Mass services are held in the chapel of the St. Josephs nursing home and a 24 hours emergency contact is available, there is also a caf, green grocer service to self care units and shopping to other centres. St. Joseph's Nursing Home is 136 place with the majority being single rooms with a combination of shared rooms available, with respite, a dementia secure area and a 23 bed unit for people from Eastern European background. Also offers palliative care with and an onsite coordinator who works with residents, carers and families to provide advanced care planning.
