Callers outside Brisbane metro area use 1800 line. Immediate and ongoing support through 24hrs/7day phone support service, support meetings, newsletter, library, booklets and pamphlets. Annual subscription is $30 (or donation in case of hardship). Formed by parents who recognised many of their feelings of grief, confusion and isolation were common to all parents who experienced the death of their baby. SANDS seeks to inform, educate and work co-operatively with health and other professionals in addressing the needs of families who have experienced the death of their baby.
