Essential home modification & maintenance services for frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers. Services include: installing peep holes in front doors; supplying and installing battery operated smoke alarms; construction of ramps, rails, widening of doorways; moderate repairs eg. carpentry repairs; minor repairs such as safety adjustments eg. refixing loose floor tiles; supply and installation of handheld showers, bathroom grab rails, doorways wedges to allow for wheelchair access, furniture modification e.g. bednand chair raisers. Information and referral to other services eg. plumbers, electricians, other community services. Provides a higher home modification scheme which caters for people with complex care needs.
