The Disabilities Support Service ensures all students have equal opportunity to succeed in TAFE NSW. The service promotes access to courses and reduces barriers that may disadvantage students in achieving their educational and career goals. Disabilities Consultants work across the whole of Western sydney Institute, ie from Blue Mountains to Baulkham Hills, and are based at Kingswood. There is a large range of services available - flexible attendance, tutors, notetakers, interpreters, exam support, adaptive equipment, access and mobility and distance education.
