The representative body for Hospice and Palliative Care in Tasmania, the Association fosters and promotes the principles of palliative care for all people; liaises with appropriate national and international organisations; works to increase community awareness and understanding of hospice and palliative care; provides information about access to services; provides education; supports all workers involved in the care of people who are dying; and advocates for service provision and its future development.
