About Telecross Service - Australian Red Cross

1800 810 810 (country calls only)nTelecross is provided free of charge to people who live alone and are at risk of sudden health deterioration due to ill health or accident. they may be frail, aged or have a disability. Each morning between 7.30am and 9am, trained volunteers telephone clients at a predetermined time to check on their health and wellbeing. Should the telephone not be answered, emergency procedures are actioned to determine if the clients is safe and well. Updated April 2008.
