About Tender Care - (Private)

Tendercare is a community support service and is afilliated with several public community health services. A support worker can visit a client regularly to have a chat. The support worker might take the client out to a cafe or shopping etc. This allows the primary carer to have some respite. To be eligible for this service a client must be referred by either their local Mental Health service or their GP. The client must reside in the Joondalup, Mirrabooka, Armadale or Swan catchment area. Self referrals will be considered in certain circumstances. This service targets people with a severe, persistent ongoing mental health condition with associated disability.
