The Benevolent Society has been working on the Central Coast since 2002 and has recently started work in the Hunter area. We work by building on the existing strengths of the areas and working in partnership with community groups and agencies. The Benevolent Society aims to contribute towards vibrant, strong and healthy communities in the Central Coast and Hunter regions.nnThe Benevolent Society in the Central Coast and Hunter regions offers a range of programs to work towards achieving these aims: Central Coast Community Action Program, Central Coast Networks of Practice Project, Partnerships in Early Childhood (PIEC), Men Accessing Resources & Services (MARS)Program, Communities for Children, Hunter Child & Family Services.
