The Hut

About The Hut

The Hut is a drop in centre and base for providing recreation and leisure activities for mental health consumers who live in the community. It operates as part of the local community mental health service, and works in partnership with other community groups and services. It offers people who have significant mental health challenges opportunities to come and pursue whatever interests them, eg sport, films, food. The Hut shares activities with other recreational services in the Sydney area such as bowling, BBQs, dances, sports/games days etc. Younger adults, please call to be referred to other suitable services. Also an efficient/cheap local transport service is provided by volunteers to help those who cannot use public transport to access this service and many associated groups/activities.
