About Tom Thumb Day Club (RSL)

RSL Day Clubs are open to frail and elderly people both Veteran and non Veteran who may be socially isolated and meet the Day Club membership criteria.nTom Thumb operates one day a week on Mondays at the ORB Bowling Club.nThe building has disabled access but no disabled toilets. nMembers must not require lifting, must be able to toilet, feed and medicate independently, and follow the club rules.nThe club is volunteer run and supported by the Dept of Veterans Affairs and the RSL. nThe clubs encourage members to be more active, to socialise and promote a sense of belonging. nThe program includes gentle exercise, mental stimulation, community entertainers and guest speakers. nMorning tea and lunch are included and each member pays a nominal fee to cover costs.
