The Unanderra Community Centre is a local community [committee] run organisation.nThe steering committee is UFARA [ Unanderra & Figtree Area Residents Association ].nIt is the hub for providing a range of social, educational, recreational & support services to the community.nA Community Development Worker is employed by the centre to co-ordinate activities.nA Youth Worker co-ordinates the Youth Project. Both are helped by volunteers.nThe community can hire the Halls for such activities as Local Groups, Meetings and 21st Parties/weddings.nThe centre provides a variety of activities and services to the residents of the surrounding suburbs of Unanderra, Figtree, Mount Kembla, Coachwood Park, Cordeaux Heights and Farmborough Heights.nVarious groups run from the centre including:nAA, Health support groups, exercise groups, seniors groups and family support services.
