Child Health nurse is available for consultations - Wed 9 am - 12.30 pm. Appts can be made for Wed PM and Fridays. Free immunisation clinic held monthly for children up to 10 yrs. Supported playgroup held on Thurs & Tues at the Centre run by a facilitator & transport may be arranged. A variety of parenting groups, Women's Survival Course and craft groups also held. Counselling (individual, marriage, children) also available - appts necessary. Young Families Group is for parents under 25 yrs and their children. The group meets on Fridays 10 am - 12 pm and is facilitated by Centre staff & volunteers. Transport is available for those living between Kanwal & Gwandalan. A play group for parents over 30 and for grandparents in the area is held on Mondays AM. Ring Centre for details. A Community Development Worker has been employed to work with communities in the northern Wyong area to provide activities where necessary and link them to other organisations as required.
