Respite care (both day and weekend) is available for carers of dependent, frail, aged people, and people with disabilities. A Home Carer will care for the dependent person while the main carer is participating in social or recreational activity, appointments or resting. During this time, a respite care worker may assist with personal care, activities of daily living and leisure activities.nOther respite services are available calla nd discuss needs.
