About Uniting Church Mandurah- Rainbow Project

The Rainbow Project is a fortnightly lunch and coffee mornings for people with mental illness and depression, in a friendly sociable atmosphere. The group also holds a Combined Churches " Journey of Hope" Service on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 6pm at UCH.Service is followed by a "bring and Share" supper. Both carers and those living with mental illness are welcome to attend. Gold coin donation for lunch.nThe Drop-in Centre/ Op Shop is manned by volunteers and is primarily an op-shop whose proceeds go back to the UCH and to women's refuges.The second-hand clothes and household goods are donated to the UCH to be sold to low-income people. It is also an employment alternative to clients from Peel Volunteers/Centrelink. It is also a Drop-In centre for members of the community who need a chat and some company.Tea and coffee are available.
