About UnitingCare Burnside - Warnervale Family Community Centre

The Centre provides information, referrals to local community by way of 'Wagtales' a quarterly publication distributed to residents in the Warnervale, Wadalba, Hamlyn Terrace, Woongarrah and Wallarah areas. It supports new residents via the 'Welcoming Initiative' and hosts regular community barbecues to enhance social connections. The Centre hosts social, support and leisure groups aimed at reducing social isolation. Parenting groups and a playgroup are provided to promote healthy early childhood bonds. Community events such as Craft in the Park, Warnervale Fair and Harmony Day celcbrations are held to promote and encourage community attachment & participation. Coast Care Counselling is available by appointment (Female counsellor - individual and relationship counselling).
