About UnitingCare Nareen Gardens - Transitional Enterprises - Accommodation Service

Provides quality, affordable supported accommodation for people with a mental illness living in the local community, which gives them the opportunity to maximise their independence and quality of life. Accommodation options are shared accommodation in Department of Housing properties with 3-4 other people. All clients must be registered with the Department of Housing for accommodation. Individual support is provided to develop and maintain general living skills. Qualified and experienced staff in consultation with each person requiring support, develops a plan which will: establish personal goals, establish the type of support and quality of support required, maximise each individual's living skills, make the most of community resources. The service provides continuous evaluation of all arrangements and monitor's each individual's progress. Clients are responsible for paying for any damage that they cause to the properties or others belongings.
