Individual support is given to develop and maintain skills such as personal management, building friendships and networks and accessing community activities and events. Qualified and experienced staff in consultation with each person requiring support develops a plan which will: establish personal goals, establish the type of support and quality of support required, maximise the individual's existing skills and make the most of community resources.
