About Very Special Kids

VSK is a unique organisation that supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life threatening illnesses. From diagnosis through to recovery or breavement. Such illnesses include cancer, muscular dystropy, neuro-degrenative and genetic conditions. VKS provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support. This support is offered holistically, centred on the family. Service available to all Victorian families. The service includes trained volunteers for support visits in hospitals, sibling programs, camps & activities, parent activities and Australia's first hospice for children, offering respite and end of life care.
