About Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS)

Services include - n- Koori Community Clinical Programs - general medical and dental service.n- Family Programs - mental health counselling and support. n- Koori Community Women's and Children's Unit - antenatal classes which also act as support groups, breast and Pap smear screenings.nA visiting healthy ear program, Gneetung Tukae, visiting paediatric services for families with children, visiting physiotherapy, optometry, women's camps and outreach services are also available. n- Koori Community Programs - Conducts health research and provides information about Koori health services. Information is available on sexually transmitted diseases. n- Administration - provides administrative and coordinating functions for the education and training programs, the health outcomes project and general maintenance of the centre. n- Drug and Alcohol Family Counselling and Social Supportn- National Diabetes Services Schemen- Aboriginal Health Promotion and Chronic Care Partnership.
