Vincentcare is a unique service, which addresses the needs of people with a mental illness, experiencing homelessness and the disadvantaged. It focuses on individual needs, promotes independence, participation and advocates strongly people's valued status within the community.Vincentcare offers accommodation for both male and female. Many singles require self-managed housing units with on site support services. The demand for the provision of services reflects the success of the prototype housing developed.nIt provides 24-hour emergency support 365 days a year to ensure the care and well being of all residents when most other agencies and support networks are closed.nVincentcare welfare staff provide regular contact and support to community services and conduct individual personal plans with residents.nGuided by the Mental Health Advisory Committee, Vincentcare delivers support through 11 separate accommodation sites and Passages Resources Centre.
