Initial referral is to the Sydney office. Low Vision Clinics are conducted in the Illawarra region. Services available to people who are legally blind:n- Activities of Daily Living Skills trainingn- Vision Aids, Print Access Training (Computer and Braille Training)n- Child and Family Services n- Advice on Sport and Recreationn- Employment Servicesn- Talking books and reading aidsn- Counselling. n- Production of material in various formats - large print, audio, braille.nLimited home visiting in region because of staff capacity, when available, they will conduct home safety checks.nNo support groups are run from this centre, but there are individual groups available in the community.
