War Memorial Hospital Waverley is an affiliated hospital under the governance of the Uniting Church in Australia.nThe primary role of the hospital is geriatric rehabilitation and assessment services. It provides rehabilitation beds; non inpatient rehabilitation and podiatry services; dementia and frail aged day care services; an aged care assessment team as well as specialist clinics and health promotion activities. There are strong clinical links with both St Vincents and Prince of Wales Hospitals. The hospital also accommodates the Combined Area University of Technology, Sydney, Health and Ageing Research Unit. The hospital is affiliated with the University of NSW. It supports students from this entity and other colleges and professional institutions in their training and pursuit of qualifications and careers.
