Require a Doctor's certificate to confirm eligibility.nHousebound service aims to meet the needs of residents of Wollongong who experience difficulty in visiting and making use of the library:nPeople who are frail or infirm,nThose with physical or sensory impairments, Carers.nSuccessful applicants are matched to a volunteer who will select suitable material and deliver to the customer either fortnightly or monthly.nCustomers can borrow a maximum of 16 items per month.nSelf select and home delivery.nFor customers who can visit the library but find it difficult to carry home their books.nEligibility is the same as for the family and friends program.nMainly done through Warrawong, Dapto, Wollongong, Corrimal, and Thirroul.nVisits to smaller libraries can be accommodated on the basis of availability.
