About Wollongong Home Respite Service

Service for people diagnosed with early stage dementia and their carers.nService provides respite for a few hours per week to enable the carer to have a break.nRespite can be in the home so that the carer can go out, or it can be an outing for the care recipient so that the carer can spend some time at home.nEligibility is assessed by the respite co-ordinator in the person's home.nRespite is provided by trained volunteers.
