About Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Program - Central Coast

The Central Coast Domestic Violence Court Assistance Scheme (CCDVCAS) provides support to women using the court system to escape domestic violence. They will explain about ADVOs and stopping domestic violence, what will happen in court and referral to other organisations. Workers provide court support at Gosford, Woy Woy and Wyong local courts and support parents seeking ADVO's against their dependent children at Woy Woy and Wyong Children's Court. The service also has workers who work out of Gosford Police Station to make contact with victims of domestic violence as soon as possible after the incident occurs. These workers work closely with the Domestic Violence Liaison Officers (DVLO's) and are known as the Domestic Violence Intervention Response Team (DVIRT).
