About Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Scheme (WDVCAS)

The WDVCAS (Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Scheme) provides a number of services for women experiencing domestic violence. The aim of the scheme is to give each woman who is in a domestic violence situation and is seeking a restraining order (also called an AVO) at Redfern and Downing Centre local courts, access to a solicitor and the assistance of a support worker.
