About Women's Information Support and Housing in the North (WISHIN)

Services provided include - n- Housing Support - An outreach housing support, information and referral service for homeless single women and women with children. Assistance is provided to help women re-establish themselves in the private rental market or public housing with time-limited support available to help them maintain that housing.n- Transitional Housing Referral - Women's Information Support and Housing in the North has limited nomination rights to transitional housing properties located within the City of Moreland and Darebin for single women with or without children. Some properties are shared-housing arrangements and some are targeted for young women under 25 years old. n- Housing Information and Referral - Information and referral on housing and tenancy issues are available for single women.
