About Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care - Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs)
Provides Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) to eligible clients. CACPs are planned and coordinated packages of care to help older people remain living in their own homes. The types of services that may be provided as part of a CACP may include: bathing, showering, assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, social support, transport, laundry, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and gardening. The packages of support are very flexible and may also include some education. Where required, Wyanga may purchase services from other community service providers to assist their clients. Wyanga provides 40 packages to people of Aboriginal background. Packages may be made available to younger persons with a disability and may be provided outside the designated area in special circumstances. Womens Project /Women's Health Movement. Works with other agencies on community projects. ** Moving to new premises later this year.
