About Young Carers 'at risk' Program

Young Carers at risk Program is aimed at young carers who are completing secondary education or vocational equivalent. The person is the primary carers to a parent, partner, child, relative or friend who has a disability, is frail aged or has a severe mental or physical condition.nThe aim is to provide respite to prevent the carer from leaving school earlier than planned due to their caring role.
