About Youth Pathways Program
The objective of Youth Pathways is to assist the most at-risk young people make a successful transition through to completion of Year 12 (or its equivalent). Young people must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident between 13 - 19 years. The objective is achieved through the identification of individual barriers. Barriers are determined by the Youth Pathways Provider. On confirmation of eligibility the Youth Pathways Provider will work with the young person to address these barriers through intensive individualised case management. nYouth Pathways is an Australian Government initiative funded by Dept of Education , Employment and Workplace Relations. To be eligible, the young person must be most at risk of leaving school, or have left school in the preceding 12 months before completing year 12 and have a combination of personal, social and educational barriers.
