The Aboriginal Medical Service offers a range of medical and allied health services including an Eye Clinic for the local Aboriginal community. The Eye Clinic includes Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. To see an Optometrist patients have the choice of making an appointment to see either of these specialists, or simply dropping in. However to see the Ophthalmologist patients must have a referral, and make an appointment.
