Aegis - Shoalwater Aged Care Facility
This 143 bed facility provides both high and low level care including 99 high level beds and 44 low level beds and residents must have an ACAT assessment. Services include Respite, Ageing in Place, Palliative care nursing, a semi-secure Dementia area, Physiotherapist, Tube feeding, Occupational Therapy Assistant provides activities daily including entertainment, an exercise program and quizzes while an OT oversees an individual program for each resident. A Podiatrist visits on a weekly basis, a Speech Pathologist is available on an as needs basis and a Hairdresser visits 1 day per week. The Community Visiting Scheme is available. Bus is nearby and the facility uses transport provided from City of Rockingham for organised outings. Pets are allowed to visit the premises and pets are negotiable for low care residents. I hope everyone is doing well. I was just wondering what the process is for applying for emergency food vouchers?
I am currently in between jobs, and my savings and centrelink are allocated to rent and medical expenses.
As of June, I'll be starting my new job but until then, I'm not sure how easy it will be to afford groceries.
