Al-Anon Family Groups, which includes Alateen, has been in existence for 50 years as a community resources providing support to those affected by someone else's drinking. Today there are about 30,000 Al-Anon and Alateen groups meeting in 112 countries. Meetings are anonymous and confidential. There are no dues or fees for membership. There are meetings in every state in Australia. The Al-Annon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems.
