Alternative Housebound Service
The Home Library Service is for people who are housebound and so cannot come into the Libraries. The Service can also be provided on a short term basis under special circumstances, such as illness or the absence of the person who would normally bring you to the library, or during post-operative recuperation where there is no regular support. The Home Library Service will deliver library items to you if you reside in the City of Swan and are physically unable to access your local library. Eligibility for this service may also depend on other criteria. The service provides books, cassettes, videos and other materials on a wide range of topics, which are matched to your specific requirements. Books can also provide in a range of languages other than English. Updated March 2008.
