Armenian Community Welfare Centre - Dementia Day Care Service
The service is an extension of the Aged Day Care Program and is designed to cater for the specific needs of those in the Armenian community who are diagnosed with low or medium levels of dementia or related illness. Participants are cared for by trained volunteers who are sensitive to the dependency needs of this group. The service provides a comfortable, safe environment where participants partake in programmed activities based on the needs and abilities of the individuals. Morning/Afternoon tea and traditional, cooked meals are served.
