Support aged Care is a consumer group who want to invite experienced individuals who are interested in maintaining and improving standards of care for those who live in residential ACF or use HACC or CACP.They offer peer support to residents and their families. They offer advocacy and info on rights of users of aged care services. Residential Care Support Network is a private company run by Nancy Pierce who convenes the primary care community partnership and is more concerned as the name implies - as a support group for the elderly who are in residential care or for carers who have partners in residential care.

Provides employment training and assists young people with a disability to secure and maintain employment To be eligible , must be Centrelink endorsed, have a disability, and be able to work minimum of 8 hrs per week (eventually Unsupported). Must want to work - Aged 15yrs - 65yrs All service provided is in relation to Employment. Covers Upper and Central Great Southern. (Open and Supported Employment) Is also a Centrelink Agency.

I recently had a 5 day holiday for a family get together, and I had a friend from Sydney stay in my unit to look after my cat as I could not take here with us. Sadly, one of our neighbor's put a note on her car window, that she was not allowed to park the car there, and that she had been reported to Department of Housing. the spot she parked in is a spare spot, and not parking has been officially allocated to tenants. I spoke to dept of housing about this, and was told it was quite ok for me to have a visitor stay, and for them to use that car space and that they would notify all the tenants of this. But to date nothing has happened, and I have another trip away coming up soon, and really don't want this to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.
