Examples of the assistance that Hand in Hand can provide include: Personal Care - Assist with hygiene needs, medication prompts Home Help - Cleaning, laundry, shopping Meal Preparation Transport - Appointments, social outings, shopping Respite - In home, for the main carer or client There are several avenues through which you may receive services from Hand in Hand: Community Aged Care Packages (CACP) Veterans' Home Care (VHC) Private Services Baptistcare offers services by private arrangement with those who wish to apply. We can tailor an individual care plan to meet your specific needs that will enable you or a loved one to remain at home for as long as possible. In this instance an ACAT assessment is not required. Fees for private services are non-negotiable.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
