Bega Garnbirringu Health Services Aboriginal Corporation covers the Goldfields Region. The service provides a holistic method of service provision in the health area offering clinical services, health promotion and health education to the Wongatha People of the Goldfields. There are 4 locations: 8 MacDonald Street - Sobering Up Centre 12 MacDonald Street - Family Violence Prevention Legal Services and BTH 14 MacDonald Street - Learning Centre and EHW 16 -18 MacDonald Street - Medical Centre/Administration The services provided by the clinic are both of a general and a specific nature. The following programs supplement the general health program: Women's Health Child Health Sexual Health Diabetic Health Heart Health Specialist Services - includes 2 visiting Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists and an Ophthalmologist. A qualified Midwife attends the practice every Wednesday morning to provide antenatal care for our clients throughout their pregnancy.
