This programme is for people who have dementia or alzheimers, while also providing respite for carers. Numbers attending each day are dependant on the level of dementia and the behaviour of group members. Transport and lunch is provided.

Group meetings offer the emotional support and understanding that comes from the shared trauma of having experienced a stroke and its often catastrophic effects on individuals and subsequently family lives. At each session a highly qualified and experienced speech pathologist provides a stimulating speech and language therapy group program. There are also diversionary therapy activities for those without communication problems, and the session concludes with a gentle exercise program under the supervision of an experienced physiotherapist.
