Bethavon Hostel
There are 33 permanent low care beds available plus a respite bed. Club Friendship is a social club for elderly members of the community to join with Bethavon residents in social activities and fellowship during the weekdays.There is a day respite program funede by NRCP and is a centre-based day care / respite program for elderly community members as well as Bethavon residents. Similar to Therapy Centres and provides social and recreational activities for its clients. Meals and transport are also provided. UCH also has Independent Living Units in Throssel St called Cottage Homes. These are all one-bedroom units and all are rentals.

Dryandra Hostel is a low care 26 bed accredited facility, with ageing in place, providing permanent and respite accommodation and care to frail and aged residents. A local GP visits every week ; There is nursing support through the hospital and residents have regular visits to the podiatrist at the hospital ; Therapy assessments are done by a visiting OT; Local churches hold regular services ; Hairdresser visits weekly ; and there is volunteer support from community members . Aged Care Assessment Team (Northam) Referrals from a Medical Practitioner and the Aged Care Assessment Team are required for entry to Dryandra. My name is Robert, I’ve experienced family domestic violent. Sadly I have a big injury in my back disk due to been assaulted and bashed by 6 x Police officers on the
20-11-2020. I haven’t been working, I’m receiving Centrelink job seeker. I got kicked out from the family house that I was paying mortgage for. Ive been homeless and leaving in a motel, I did approach Housing Department and thank god and thanks to them that they have offered me a 1 bedroom until which im hoping to move into it next week. Sadly I can’t afford to buy some of the furniture for the unit , jI’m wondering if your company would be able to help me out ?
