Black Dog Institute - Randwick
The Black Dog Institute is a clinical research facility that has outpatient based clinical services and serves as a state-wide tertiary referral facility providing sophisticated diagnostic and management assessments of mood disorders. The MDU currently conducts two clinics with a specific focus on depression (refer to Depression Clinic for details) and bipolar disorder (refer to Specialist Bipolar Disorder Clinic for details) provided by the Mental Health Program of the South Eastern Sydney Area Health Service. MDU also provides information to educate the general public and health professionals about mood disorders.
