The Alzheimer Association hold regular meetings at Braemar House to provide support to family members and friends . This is a 58 bed facility including 34 nursing beds and 24 Dementia specific in a secure environment where residents have their own room, some with their own en-suite .An ACAT is required. 3 respite beds now available, of which one is dementia -specific. Services include Tube Feeding, Palliative care nursing and Diversional therapist, Activities Officer. A public bus and train are nearby. A GP is available for new clients. Medications are in Webster packs .
