Broadmeadows Disability Services (BDS)
Services provided include - - Adult Day Programs - day training for eighty young people and adults 18 to 65 years old with intellectual disabilities. Includes independent living skills training. - Home First - provides funding to enable children, young people and adults 13 to 64 years old with intellectual disabilities or acquired brain injury to live in their own housing. The program particularly focuses on clients whose parents/carers are ageing or in poor health. - Escapade Respite Services - provides regular day respite for carers of children, young people and adults 6 to 65 years old with autism, acquired brain injury or intellectual, sensory or physical disabilities. - Recreation and Social Support Program - available for people with acquired brain injury. Activities include social nights, bowling, ceramics and woodworking groups, dinner and movie nights.
