A 73 bed facility for older people assessed by an ACAT as requiring high level care.It also offers extra services. There are 2 wings- 34 bed Dementia Specific Unit in the Wisteria wing and Extra services in the Camellia wing which has 31 beds. Services include secure Dementia wing, Tube feeding, Tracheostomy care, Palliative care nursing, Activities Officer, Physiotherapist and Social Worker. Occupational therapist, dietician. Massage, Aromatherapy and Podiatry, Hairdresser available. Activities include cooking, gardening, crafts, carpet bowls, exercise group, games and reading of newspapers to residents. The facility has its own mini bus and Melville Council bus is hired for special outings. Public bus stop out the front and caters for Italian and Portuguese-speaking residents, this is part of Extra Service. Transitional Care Program is also available .
