Centacare Community Visitors Scheme

Volunteers visit elderly people in residential care who are at risk of social isolation because of limited contact from family and friends, disability or linguistic or cultural reasons. Currently Centacare are involved in providing a visiting service to the following facilities: St Lukes Dapto, Woonona Nursing Home, Villa Maria, Unanderra, Towradgi Park Village, Shoalhaven Nursing Home Bomaderry, Osborne Nursing Home Nowra, Multicultural Village Port Kembla, Mayflower gerringong, Daintree Albion Park. Volunteers share conversations, hobbies, interests and social activities. Volunteers are always welcome, especially those with a second language. Induction and one-one training given. Travel expenses reimbursed. Volunteers do not assist with any medication.

Dear your care,
Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
